A confirmation has been made that Karl Lagerfeld is designing a capsule collection for Macy's. He is led to believe to follow the footsteps of London designer Kinder Aggugini and Matthew Williamson.
The new Karl Lagerfeld x Macy's collection will be handled by Hong Kong-based sourcing company, Li & Fung, which produces lines for Rachel Zoe, P. Diddy, and Jennifer Lopez's new wares for Kohl's. It will feature affordable menswear as well as womenswear ready-to-wear pieces from jeans to gowns and due to hit the 250 Macy's stores and online in September 2011.
